Feedback is not an obligation but a professional courtesy.

We should know the challenges which face listings upon signing the contract. Feedback could be used to reinforce the negatives which you've already addressed with your Seller although it's use is not obligatory. 

Not obligated.  I do give it when asked.  I always ask for feedback.

I think feedback from a buyer's agent is useless.... what would a listing agent expect to hear from a buyer's agent other than negatives, especially if there might be interest.... and if there's no interest, you'd probably hear that it's a great home....and priced right, even if you know it's not!!

There is no obligation, but then do't complain when you don't get feedback.

I'll give feedback if my Buyers are not interested in making an offer. However, you better make it darn easy to do so. Please don't leave me your office number so that I can wait on hold for the receptionist, give her all the information you already have for me, and then have to page you so that I can get another call from you tomorrow and hope that I'm around, else suffer through the entire process again.

I'm with Evelyn, not an obligation, but I think it's the right thing to do and I would want others to reciprocate.

Out of courtesy, I certainly provide feedback to an agent asking for it.  If something goes wrong in the showing, or a safety issue presents itself, I would still contact the Listing Agent.  I appreciate it when others do it, so I am happy to cooperate with other brokers.

Obligated is a strong word. I certainly think sharing feedback is a professional courtesy.

I am not obligated, but if I get a phone call or an email I usually try to respond.  I really appreciate when people give me feedback for my sellers so I try to put forth that positive in hopes it will be reciprocated!

I'm not a fan of feedback forms that are emailed but if an agent catches me either by phone, personal email or text I always respond. It gets difficult however when we have multiple buyers and have shown many homes. My philosophy is if there is not an offer or additional follow up with questions that may lead to interest or an offer after a showing the buyer is not interested or maybe not ready to buy at all. Most feedback is negative or just the agent being nice so why bother? I think listing agents know if they have a saleable listing or if they are overpriced or whatever. They don't need us to tell them. Believe me, if my client is interested I will call the listings agent and if another agent has a buyer interested in my listings they will call me. So no, I'm not a fan of feedback and hounding agents for it.

Are you obligated? No. If there was a potential safety hazard, furnace was off, etc. I think you should.  

Feedback is good. Nothing says you must, but I give feedback to help in any way possible. Not sugar coating, but truth as I see it.

Well I do not think I am obligated as it is not in the commission license law.  But I do give feedback as a courtesy to the listing agent.

No. Feedback is voluntary. Your buyer client might have instructed you not to disclose his/her interest level in the house. Each situation is different, so it's case by case.

Obligated NO, but i do give generic info as it is the right thing to do. If they like it, i may hold back info not to skew future negitiations. 

We do because we appreciate it when others do the same for our listings...and it may be something that the Seller can improve and help make a sale.

If the showing service requested feed back the moment you click schedule, no.

Those who are going to use meaningful feedback will talk to you. 

While most agents would like feedback the majority of them do not leave any feedback.

I rarely ever give a feedback and do not expect them either.  They are just starting their search is my standard comment when asked.  People lie, they will tell you it's gorgeous just to not hurt your feelings.

There's no obligation to provide feedback, but if I notice something or have a suggestion that may help the listing agent without compromising my buyer's negotiating position I may send a quick email. Agents appreciate the professionalism, and they might just remember that when you send them an offer.

We have electronic appointments in our MLS that sends out automatic feedback. When I receive them I always answer because I want those agents to reciprocate.

As a personal courtesy, yes it is important to give feedback to the isting agent.

I like to do this for the listing agent. It's not required but I know I appreciate it.

No. But if it affects safety like a broken window and unlocked door I let them know in writing. Keep in mind they keep track of agents and their names via Supra.

If I'm asked for feedback I will always try to give it. I do not give out unsolicted feedback.

As a courtesy to listing agent I do so, but never comment on price or strong likes by an interested buyer as I do not want to undermine their negotiating power.

Not mandatory, but it's nice to do.
