Hi Michael -- I have a pretty good filter to much of the advertising here.  I do wonder why there are a lot of underwear ads --- is it a subliminal message directed just at me?  Or am I just paranoid?  

I make it a point to not pay attention to pop-ups on any site I visit.

If the ads are useful.  We are bombarded with so many ways for outsiders to perform "cashectomies" on our commissions, it's tough to disern what really works.  Most of the time, it's just noise. 

I can look at a commercial on TV and not "see" it.  Popular are annoying and i avoid sites that have too many of them or if it's difficult to get rid of them.

No pop ups here.  I don't pay any attention to the side ads.  

I generally ignore.  I see some of my competitors' ads come up.  I guess I should start clicking those so it costs them money.

but, it doesn't matter if we click/don't click...if the visitors do, that's how they'll still make money (as well as they will leave the site).

It's business and while I glance at them because there may be something of interest, they do not bother me. 

Pop up ads do not usually catch my attention and I opt out of them when possible. 

Good morning Michael. Most sites will turn white space into money whenever possible, smart way to earn revenues. I don't pay much attention to any of the ads, but if something caught my attention, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them.

I use Firefox and never see any adds, they have an add-on called adblock that does a very good job.

We installed AdBlock Plus, when the underwear ads showed up.  Now my page is pristine and nothing pops up.  A

I just ignore them, I have a pop up blocker as well so perhaps that makes it easier.

Michael, I just ignore it.  Hopefully they won't accept London Erotic Massage as a vendor.

Michael Thornton I don't see any pop up ads. I guess my pop up blocker is working. As far as the ads in the right column, I don't pay any attention to them.

Be aware, the ad are a result of my/your browsing activity.

For instance, I'm always research the services sold to real estate agents, and one that has caught my attention and received several visit is Leaddoubler. They are the only ad I've seen on AR for DAYS! 

What I am observing is exactly what should be happening and EXACTLY WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING with at least 50% of your marketing dollars. By the way, I have witnessed NO 'POP-UP' ads. That the trademark of Inman News.

Don't love them, ignore them, and have never clicked through on any of them.

No sir they are annoying but you earn to live with it.
