One way to thank someone is to give their answer and "upvote" as that gives them 10 pts.  The other thing you can do is comment on one of their blog posts.

I would just hit the "UPVOTE" as a way to acknowledge their contribution, or make an individual comment on each answer.

I think it's assumed that every AR member is thankful for any comment left....

I do not come again to the question.......AR killed all possibilities of the discussion by this new change. I hope, they will realize that they made a mistake.

I thoroughly agree with Debbie Gartner Also always LIKE comments given as much as possible on any bogs, why not help your fellow Rainers?

Elite Team - you surely can leave a comment for each answer. However, my only concern is, it is not going to be easliy visible - unless someone clicks on the drop down box - and you can't tag people in your comments 

And you are not crazy - I used to like the idea of responding as a new answer.

It makes two of us now....who does not like this system of commenting.

Last time I tried to tag 10 people in my thank you answer, only 5 were allowed. I added individual comments for the others, but it takes more time.  I didn't try to edit my answer, but that's a good idea.  Comments are hard to see since they are hidden until expanded.  I do click Like for each comment.

You can leave a comment.  Also I like upvotes  :)

How about replying once and then editing that response if you need to comment back to the individual?

I just update my response and include more names .

 Good morning. I do have to agree with the answers that some of the others have provided.

There are some good answers here. I had to check in to see what people suggested. 

I guess you can send them an email and hope it doesn't go to their spam.

I usually respond by commenting on their posts.

Just say Thanks, after all the answers.
