Check my points to make sure I got credit for my log in. Then go to Q & A's.

I check new notifications and respond appropriately. Then I read the news feed and then the questions section.

Very helpful to read what others that have been at this for a while do as best practices.

respond to commets that folks have left after I signed off....then I comment.... then I post....then answer questions.... and more posting after that!!!

Good morning Nick. I will always start to comment, primarily on those that I follow on a regular basis.

It took me some time before I found a subject I was comfortable with.  So I started reading others posts and making comments.  I looked at the structure of the posts and made a decision on what interested me.  So I began to post.  Don't be surprised if you post a few blogs and nothing happens.  Hang in there you'll get the feel.

One other thing.. Write about what interests you not what you think people would read.  Remember what you like others do and it won't take long for them to find you...  Good luck

 I do as many responses to blogs as possible and that I had the Q&A section.

I was reading other blogs, leaving comments, listened to webinars for almost a year before writing my first blog post. I started with 'for members only' and slowly graduated to go public. But I see a lot of new bloggers who brilliant in writing. Do what you feel more comfortable with. Good luck!

I have already been current on the comments I've received because those come to my email. So I usually write a post first. Then I comment on the people I follow. After that I will wander over to the Q and A section. Of course I try to spread this around throughout the day, but it all usually happens at the end of the day. 

Clean up my home page so I know where I am in terms of responding to comments.  They have really mucked up the home screen to me and it is much more time consuming to delete individual things.

All of the above, depending on my inclination.  I probably read comments first.  Post my blog, if I have it written and then go commenting. A
