High ranking for my website is important to attract traffic. But some visitors must be converted into leads, subscribers and sales for a business. Conversion ratio is important.

They are both important. If you can not rank your website rank your AR blog. For some, ranking the AR blog is easier, AR has more authority in google's eyes than your website. It does not matter to me which one shows up first or highest because my goal is to have all kinds of platforms we are on to dominate on page one for long tail keywords. So if AR is #1, our website is #2, our facebook page is #3, our pinterest board is #4, our tumblr blog is #5, etc. then we have met our SEO goals.
