Absolutely.  I frequently get together with Thom Abbott and occassionally with about 20 others and talk on the phone regularly with even more and once in a while with some beyond that.  I would guess I've met or spoken with at least 200 other members in my years here and consider some very close friends.

However, Tues Morning I received a message from Waterloo ON, regarding an abandoned blog on TRULIA a link to which still exists in servers across the globe. She needed my template on creating inventory and I sent it her way.

That, however, will not and did not lead to a deeper relationship.

Yes.  I would probably still not be utilizing YouTube if not for Debb Janes insisting.  She is a great mentor and now our friend.  We've also met and socialized with several from blogging.  All great people!  I've gotten numerous calls from others as well and hope I was inspiring to them.  I've gained several referrals and well as given several out which is a win-win.  

Hi Noah - YES and thank you for reaching out and your help.  I'm still reluctant at times to call other members(that whole bothering thing) but I've enjoyed the conversations I have had.  There have also been email exchanges with some members plus the reciprocation of comments.  This past January was my first time attending a MeetUp and while I was a bit apprehensive -- it was terrific. 

AR is incredible in this regard and certainly not a part of the benefit I would receive when I joined.   A nice surprise to say the least.

I actually like talking to AR members. I talked today to John M. again; if I have a chance to refer someone to him, I will.

I have spoken with several and yes I believe that has led to a more established relationship.
