I don't know about strange or interesting, but very scary. My first year in real estate I was showing a condo that was supposed to be unoccupied and walked in on a victim of suicide, still holding the gun in his hand but definitely not with us any longer. Terrible experience!

Strangest or most interesting...I'll go for interesting.
Arrived at house and another agents car and a few more, in the drive. Wonderful, she says come on in, her folks however, may be there a bit longer. So, in we go.
Inside I observe a fellow holding out a 'magic box' with what appears to be a game board, compass, charts, astrological signs, and an exhaustive grid of numbers as well as a several sheets of papers with hand written notes.
In each room, he recorded information from the box, consulted the notes, referenced the zodiac, the grid and calculated a number.
It was facinating, but my lurking started to create discomfort.
I later find out this consultant, hired by the buyer, was using the age, gender and birth date of every occupant, and the magic boxes reading to determine if this house was a proper fit for the buyer occupant.
I can just see the outcome announced hosted by Johnny Carson, "The Great Karnak says, "This house not right for you."
The seller asks their agent, 'What is the buyer feedback?" "Have you ever heard of Karnak?" begins the agent.

I was showing a property once and no one answered the door so I went inside, halfway through the showing we entered a kids' room and there was a teenage kid trying to give himeself a mohawk using a buzz razor. It was not going well and there was his shoulder legnth black hair all over the bedroom floor. He actually in way over his head and asked me if I could give him a hand (he was scared his parents were going to give him a fit) I delcined on giving him a hand.

I encountered a huge snake in a cage and we didn't see him until we turned the light on in the room. All the drapes were pulled closed (I guess he liked the dark) and nobody told us that is what we should expect. It gave me quite a start and the buyer immediately wanted to leave the house all freaked out.

There was a lady in the property....or was it a statue? We literally couldn't tell. She or it appeared to be praying. My clients and I decided it must be a statue.
We walked upstairs to continue to tour the house. When we went into the backyard, the "statue" walked right by us.
We were startled to say the least, but stayed silent until we got back to the car. Then we all cracked up laughing.
