Michael Jacobs that was indeed my question. I love seeing some members I've not seen elsewhere, even commenting on the posts of others. Maybe it is because the Q&A section is quick and easy.
Sandy Padula & Norm Padula, JD, GRI I'll buy that! LOL
To Gita Bantwal and Barbara Todaro I think you're right. In the Q&A section you don't have to read as much. It is quick.

Hi Kathy -- do you mean you are noticing members here that you don't notice writing posts or commenting on posts? If that's the question, I have "seen" some members here that I haven't "seen" elsewhere prior to this section and a couple that I have now "noticed" as out and about elsewhere.
AR is a big virtual campus -- it's nice to see some new kids around the quad. I think the Q/A section is quick and easy --- maybe it's like an elective in school -- an easy "A" or five or ten points.
Of course, if that wasn't the intent of your question -- you can delete my response.

Kathy,
I have observed the ame thing...and I do think the Q &A section is easier than writing a post.

Probably the ones posting only in the Q & A section have been intimidated by the extreme knowledge and intelligence of those in the Blog Area. OK...delete Michael Jacobs' answer now!

I haven't really noticed it. When this first came out, I was active, but it didn't seem very easy to navigate, so I stopped using it. I think it has gotten better, so I am going to try and be more active within the Q & A section as well.

I really haven't noticed a difference. It probably depends what time of day one scrolls through the blog roll, if at all, or if one responds to comments on one's post. If someone never responds to comments on their posts or never reciprocates back comments then they probably wouldn't recognize us plain old vanilla janes over here.

I agree Kathy and wonder why some people are popping up only on the Q&A? I actually was wondering this myself. Maybe it is an easier way for them to make a statement Vs writing or commenting on a blog?

Michael Jacobs The JD is after my name, not Sandy's. Her profession is Brain Surgeon on my pea brain.

I like the Q & A section better Kathy. It's more of a laid back atmosphere, quick and easy plus I am learning a lot here too!

LOL Sandy Padula & Norm Padula, JD, GRI - I just noticed the JD after (I assume) Norm's name(sorry Sandy if I'm wrong or if both of you are attorneys)...his response makes more sense now even though I object!
