Debra Peters , you don't need to reach millions of people. FB can very accurately target only the niche you want to reach: your community ( city or zip code), certain age and gender, etc. Don't forget FB is in the business of tracking your information and selling it.
Your add would follow ONLY certain leads. Like those ads you see on the left of your screen. They are not the accident.
Few days ago, I checked a certain type of stove on Amazon.com. Today that stove was hunting me on FB! lol.

I have not paid for any advertising on Facebook. Although Facebook reaches millions of people, I prefer to post relevant content to my profile along with staying visible in my community. I have not yet spoken to anyone I know that has paid for an ad. It will be interesting to read the comments of others.

You've been busy with questions:) I'm sure you are getting ready for that 3k contest:)
No, I thought about using the credit they give you ( $100? or so), but never did.

Yes, I have purchased a few. Typically, I'll allocate about $25 for a campaign. Haven't really seen any positive tangible results from them as of yet.

Bob,
As we speak to various agents and read all types of stuff, the results people have reported are more likes. It sounds to us like a popularity contest, rather than anything viable. A

Bob, I did not when I was on Facebook. Have appreciated the answers and is good to know if I ever get back on there.
