Of course. It's easier than getting a buyer to sign a buyers agreement. But I do both now. I offer exceptional service for my clients and I educate them on why they should sign the agency agreement. Do you want an agent to attend your first open and talk to your sellers? A lot can happen in ten minutes. Are there agents out there that don't get a listing agreement signed? I want to find those sellers. When did you start real estate?

I use an angency agreement with buyers and sellers. I never work with someone without a contract that spells out the expectations and what ifs. It protects both, creates a discussion up front and rarely needs enforcement when all perform as they should.
