YES and no offense, but i would not allow anonymous questions or answers. You have to be signed in with your name given, or not allowed to post, answer or comment

Who decides what is "ridiculous"? There is too much judgment in that for me to get on board with that. Like all things in life, if it does not fit for us, or we don't like it, of find it ridiculous, we have the choice to move on to something else. I do feel that anonymous posters should not be allowed.

I don't feel comfortable to sit in judgment of a question's validity.
What I would like to see is "anonymous" questions/posts be banned.

Yes, I think all posting done ANONYMOUSLY should be banned.
That is objective.
What is ridiculous is subjective and much more difficult to regulate.

I do indeed raise my eyebrows some days as to the questions asked. Seems obvious that someone is looking for some extra points.

Yes, yes, yes! I'm surprised people waste their time for a few points, and AR doesn't translate our points into anything that I see adding value to my business. Why are so many people point hounds?

I think AR should monitor anonymous questions more than "ridiculous questions". Who are we to decide what's ridiculous? What may seem ridiculous to us may be of interest to someone else. Also, it's important to note ActiveRain offers the topic of "Just for fun" so they invite us to post things just for the "point". This is an inclusive community of real estate professionals, however there is no rule or insinuation that we have to be robots and only write about things that are real estate related.

Yes I agree. Some questions are just silly and have no place in this forum in my opinion.

Yes. When I come across a crazy question I just pass over it.

It would be hard to do and probably anger a lot of members. Though, there are a lot of ridiculous questions here, for sure.

No, because I don't that this is the most important concern of AR. There always people who bend the rules, and eventually no one really pays attention to them and they disappear into the eternet of the internet. A

Yes. There are indeed some questions where I wonder what the point of it all is....

If the question is completely without point, it will most likely be ignored. Mark
