New Document Scanner: I'm considering updating my current scanner to a Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Scanner. Cost on NewEgg.com about 450.00. Does anyone have any input on this model.

I own a Fuji ScanSnap 1300i (Amazon) and it is far better than any other scanner I have used. Setup wasn't easy but it is easy to use and portable

Frank Rubi, MBA - depends on your requirements. If really need volumes of scanning, that cost may be okay - however, I feel it's too high. Most multi-funcution high end printer with reasonably good scanning capabilities are lower than that price range.
