Hi Debbie - I went from an iPhone 5 (like you) to a 6. I do like it, and like the bigger screen, and honestly with the bigger sizes no need to carry an iPad also. The camera is absolutely incredible in my opinion. I was at an event yesterday and took photos from quite a distance and mine were clearer than those using a regular camera. If you are on Verizon, then try the Apple store as they gave me money back for my iPhone 5 to recycle which took the price of the 6 to half.

Debbie,

Ron loves his, and we love the applePay function, as it is 2 less credit cards that he has to carry.  We wish more retailers were adapting it. He also appreciates the larger screen in that his emails are more visible and when he replies, the keyboard is bigger.

I have the 5S, and I have a envy his...By the way, the 6 fits in my jeans back pocket, as well as in my front pocket.  A

My wife loves her 6.  I'm an Android man, but I think if you're willing to go for the larger size, it's got great readability and lots of usable space.

Janis and I both upgraded to the I6. Janis got the bigger one because she can use it more like her I Pad as it has a larger keyboard. I upgraded to the regular sized one and love it.

I especially love the heart app which automatically tabs your daily foot steps and miles walked. I'm blown away at how much you can really walk in a day without even trying. I'm averaging 2 miles a day just from my regular activity not counting walks that Janis and I take, bicycling or surfing.

Was able to sell my IPhone I've had back to ATT for over $100.   I bought the IPhone 6+ for screen size.  I have used an iPad for several years and love it, but the plus screen size sold me.  I am hoping maybe some new apps will come for this iPhone.  Other than  the faster processor and much improved camera it isn't that different.  It is more delicate, because of the much lighter exterior material. Bends if you put in back pocket.  I don't.  I use a heavy duty Otter Box to protect it.  Especially drops.  I also bought insurance for the first time.

That's my story and sticking to it.

If you have the 5c or S, then no. But if it is the original 5, you could justify upgrading

The Iphone 6+ has a great screen and a great camera

I love the 6;  my husband has the 6+ and uses it now more than his iPad.  He loves it, but he has large hands so the size is not a problem for him.  I feel like the 6 is so much easier to see and definitely faster to use.   I went from the 4S, though, and skipped the 5.

YES. The phone is just bigger to really help seeing the screen, it is also light and the important part is faster. Most carriers will even buy your 5 back. I upgrade dto the higher storage and paid 199 and got 125 for my 5.

I love my iphone 6+. I think it is the best phone they ever made. It looks beautiful and works great. All my friends got + after they saw mine:), no one complains. ( my kids got 6, they have no need for a big screen).

We did it from a 4 to a 6 for Margie and we were told that the 6 has a little faster processor then the 5 and is larger screen wise but many females carry the phone in their back pocket and prefer the 5. The Verizon guy told me that the 6 plus which is really huge is not selling well. I am not an IPhone user but asked these questions when at the store.

My answer Debbie is no if your 5 is working wait.

I am happy with my upgrade so far and can recommend the 6+ as not being too big.

The camera on the iPhone 6 is much improved. They're using a new sensor which has dedicated focus pixels (no more blurry zooming in & out while it looks for focus) as well as some special "white pixels" that help it perform better in low light. The improvements are so good, you can actually take good interior pics of houses with it. Not as good as a DSLR of course, but well you should just see the difference. I just posted some pics of an interior with my iPhone 6 if you want to see.

My 5 is a plain five. The battery life is not the best. I keep thinking a bigger screen would be nice. I never thought about selling my phone back, either. Hmmm. Is there another new model on the horizon soon? I might could wait a few months if something even better is coming.

I would really guess no, but since I don't have one my opinion doesn't matter much.  I just can't justify new teck stuff every few months.
