Yes, I would in the circumstances you have pointed out.
Serious buyers or existing clients, vacant homes, no interference with our plans? Sure. Oh, wait, I would have to answer the phone first and depending on what I'm doing, that may not happen...LOL...maybe if they send me an email.
It depends on the buyer and whether or not they are truly serious, and as long as they don't interefere with the plans of the day. A
If it will be going out with qualified buyers who are truly prepared to buy a house, then yes, I would show a couple houses on a holiday. I would try to arrange it so that it coincides with my children's two hour quiet time in the early afternoon, though.
The circumstances would determine the response. If they are from our of town and must find a home before they leave, it may provide a good reason to assist them.

No, I do not. Clients really do need to respect our time with our families on certain holiday days. At the end of the day, what house can't wait 24 or 48 hours to be looked at?

If really needed, yes. However, it's very limited and to a special client only.
I see no reason not to. If I'm availavble I'm ready to work when my clients want me to. I have no issue with returning emails and requests at all hours, but I don't work 24/7 - that's the flexibility I love.
Absolutely! We wrote an offer on New Years Eve. It hardly put a dent in the festivities and if we are lucky, it will be a rip roaring start to the New year.
Under the circumstances you mentioned..Yes, I would. Especially if it was an out of the area client just here for a short visit.
Not on Thanksgiving or Christmas but yes for News Years Day.
Absolutely, as a winter destination, this is our busiest time of year.
100% yes. I showed homes this morning. They were all vacant and from it I submitted an offer. It was a client that called yesterday and no one would show him the homes, he had one day to look. Don't get me wrong I feel there should be family time, quality time, life work balance. But - this is why I also have a business partner so tasks can be bounced back and forth depending on availablity.
I have and would.. all depends on plans though. Some holidays are booked entirely with family outings. Others are lazy days with not much going on.
I did not have the pleasure this holiday although I have and will likely continue to do so.
Good morning Richard,
Yes to showing a vacant home on a holiday as long as it does not interfere with activities we have planned fot the day.
I always show homes if they want to see - and buy.
Depends on whether it is a real Holiday or just a govt vacation type holiday.
If it was close by maybe and if the buyer is someone I know to be qualified and not just a lookey loo.
