That is a loaded question! In our opinion one should have various measuring standards for each year. Sometimes goals need to be reassesed, and folks that you are working with from other firms are hampered by their lives.
As we review our year, it was a good year. It took turns and twists, new unexpected paths, all good. It is a matter of reassessing as we progress.
We are advising our clients to really examine the ROI/retun on investment (not just dollars) but time spent working to get leads. We have found that time spent with people is worth a lot more than with social media. And our clients are reporting the same thing. A

Not the best year for me either as I had a bunch of challenges - 1) polar vortex/slow start to year, 2) major health issue at beginning of year and 3) broken foot. But, I did finish off the end of the year strong and feel that we are very well set up for success for 2015. There will be several non-repeating events next year, so it should be much easier to have a kick-butt year. That's what I'm striving to do.
Hoping to hire another person to help. Hoping by end of Jan.

Not a stellar year for me for sure. I am continuing to work on team building which was my primary goal in 2014 and have to focus on that this year. Working on Social Media - never touched seriously so that will be included in my 2015 goal.

One of my goals was to obtain the CRS designation and I accomplished that. Another goal was to reach the KW "cap" sooner this year than last year. Done! I'm still working on the last goal - getting rid of the paper and doing more online.
