You might try MelissaData or ListAbility, although I am not sure whether their sources are something other than Tax Records.

Call the post office to see if they have a forwarding address?

Check the mailing address in public records. If they are different, one of them is absentee home-owner.

Adell, there are many ways to do this with today's technology but if you're farming an area and this happens look to the neighbors when those "Return to Sender" letters and post cards hit your desk. We have season and off-season addresses that need constant review and updating however the payoff outweighs the effort substantially.

Bill Dandridge- I tried that before (about 8 mths ago), and was told that they were not able to tell me.
I've asked various Associates and no one ever has an answer or they all say "the tax records."
I'm trying to organize my action plans for more listings so I'll make another attempt with the post office, and see what happens.
I've mailed letters before to a home I know was vacant in hopes of the post office "forwarding" the letter to the real address but they all came back "return to sender".
