All the designation courses are good - including SRS.

Debbie Laity I think you have it right on. Be an agent for a year, sell and list a couple then take the GRI and you will get so much out of it! I really want to do the SRS but it isn't available online and it is only given in state a few times here in Arizona.

The GRI has served me the best. I don't have the SRS, and I'm not sure why. Have you seen my designations? I'm not trying to brag, but I have a few. At a state convention one year, I met this agent from the other side of my state and she told me she wouldn't refer a person to anyone that didn't have a GRI.
I believe the GRI course is very comprehensive. I got a lot out of it. I'm not looking for referrals from having that designation, but it sure would be nice. I haven't gotten any yet, but I live in a rural area. But that course taught me so much.
I could go on about this. I had a friend that got her GRI within a year of getting her license. At that time the market had started to fall...it was 2007. She didn't have the experience to appreciate the course. I think agents with experience can appreicate this course so much more. I know I had several years experience before I signed up for the course. I'm glad I had that behind me.
