My brother is looking for a rental in Massachusetts and was told by a LA that it would cost him $2k for her to show him the home . This seemed fishy to me. Is it typical in that area?

I suspect if that were the norm, agents would be jumping at the chance to show rentals. Sounds like an agent who does not want to show rentals.
