I was born and raised in the small town of Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you have ever heard of "Kona Coffee" then you have heard of my home town; if you haven't then let me just tell you it's wonderful. I couldn't have grown up in a more beautiful place. I love it, and I love to go home and visit. However, I also love Texas. Texas really is another world in itself. This place is full of diversity. From the trees and forests of east Texas to the wild country of south Texas to the plains of west Texas, Texas has just about everything to offer from country, to cities, to beaches. I have lived here for five years. I moved to Texas to attend college. I lived with a friend of mine for about a year and worked with him training cutting horses, while I also attended Colin County Community College. After that I moved to Mt. Pleasant Texas where I attended Northeast Texas Junior College and earned a spot on their college Rodeo team. I College rodeoed for Mt. Pleasant for a year, in which I then transferred to Texas A&M Commerce or East Texas State. I received a BA in Finance from Commerce and then went on to get my Real Estate license. Along with selling Real Estate I still train horses and I also have a lawn service business (Malama Pono Lawn Services). I still rodeo occasionally, however I spend most of my time going to horse shows. I like to fish, hunt hogs (I have a few good dogs), wakeboard, ride my bike, and skateboard. You might see me riding my bike or running around town. I also spend a lot of time out at the lake, pulling my surfboard and wakeboard behind my boat. If you see me give me a wave, I love to talk and meet new people. Most my experience in Real Estate is in the areas of farm and ranch land and commercial properties. I have a knack for developing ranchlands and working areas where they can be more useful and convenient. I have built and remodeled barns, arenas, pens, etc., countless times. I grew up on a cattle ranch and had a large hand in running it since I was 15 years old. I know what it takes to have a profitable farm and operational ranch. In addition to our ranch my family also invests frequently in commercial property. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in numerous commercial transactions and have been able to experience commercial deals first hand.
