I began my career in 1986 in Pasadena, CA.  My best girl friend called me one day and told me I should become a Real Estate Agent.  She stated that will be the perfect career for you.  You love people and houses.  They go hand in hand.  At that time, my sister I spent our Sunday Afternoons going to open houses.  Looking at houses.  That was the beginning. 

Today's market is differ than the recession in the late 80's in that the interest rates were very high.  Unlike today's market that is ideal for the first time buyer.   The First Time Buyer's up to $8,000 Tax Credit, lower sale prices and low interest rates.  It can't get much better than that. 

There are disadvantages for some of the current home owner.  Due to the lose of income, lose of relationships and lose of health, some home owner's can no longer afford their home.  But the bless side is the lenders are allowing them an opportunity to regroup.   By approving Short Sales and forgiving  unpaid mortgage differs,  and minimum damage to thier credit.  This  gives the owners and opportunity to regroup, and prepare for home ownership within 24 months.
