Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec.  Trained in electrical trade - working for electrical utility for some years. Moved to Ontario in mid 1970s.  Married with three children, two sons living in Barrie and a daughter living in Kitchener.  Began part time work as a contractor in the mid 90s - doing renovations.  This was a good help in the background for Home Inspections, but after taking Home Inspection education it was apparent that there was still some lacking knowledge to be a good Home Inspector.

I had been cleaning/sweeping chimneys in Quebec on family farm, and dropped that upon moving to Ontario.  I began sweeping chimneys again in 1995 when a friend asked if I knew somebody who could clean their chimney, and he referred a friend, and it grew.

I began Home Inspections in 1999 part time/and kept cleanign chimneys part time.

I started a tree/lawn care company in 2010 for two sons, but have since closed down due to their lack of interest.  That left me back in the Chimney Sweep & Home Inspection work.

I have since taken additional training in both the Chimney Sweeping/Inspection side as well as the Home Inspection related work.  The two actually are inter-related quite well.

I am WETT Certified as a Comprehensive Inspector and an Advanced Chimney Sweep.  And have my Certified Master Inspector for Home Inspections.  Looking forward to helping you in the near future.
