Most clients like working with me because I always tell it like it is and, with a lifetime of real estate experiences, there aren't too many scenarios I haven't dealt with at some point. It's sometimes tempting to put a positive spin on a situation that might turn out in the long run not to be all that positive. Although there is no real scientific data to support my theory, this is the theory: The more positive the spin put on something that might turn negative, the more quickly the currently positive issue will turn ugly and land you in the cauldron.
Referral after referral, new clients usually tell me: "So and so said we must call you because you won't lie to us." Honesty in real estate really IS the best policy.
With millions of dollars in personal transactions, and many, many more millions in transactions for clients, I have sold residential, commercial and land ranging from the low 5 figures into 7 figures. Although I don't specialize, I feel confident in my ability to successfully transact business ranging from mountain land to commercial buildings to condominiums and townhouses to high end single family residential property. Every transaction has a story and I hope to use this blogging opportunity to relate some of my favorites which I hope will be both entertaining and informative for fellow Realtors and potential clients as well.
