I am a retired nurse. I first entered the real estate industry in the late 1980's but spent more time nursing to pay the bills, than selling real estate. I always said that once I retired, I would do real estate fulltime. My daughter beat me to it. She first started in the new home industry and then got her real estate license. Before long, she was living my dream! Two years ago, she encouraged me to make the transition, and I am excited to finally be able to live my own dream. Of course, anyone who has been doing this for awhile, knows that sometimes the dream isn't exactly the way you pictured it. Just as in the late 80's, the real estate market is once again flooded with foreclosures. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost their home like this. If you are headed in that direction, I hope you will contact me so that we can either stop the foreclosure or find another way out. If you have ever thought of investing in real estate, now is a great time. Some investors will take over destressed property and lease it back to the previous owner, creating a win/win situation for everyone.
First Time Home Buyers need to call me about 3 months before they want to buy a home. Through my "I Want That House" seminars, we take buyers through all the stages (and paperwork) involved in making their real estate purchase. When I get at least 8-10 people interested in the seminar, I get a local mortgage broker, closer from a local title company, representative from a Home Protection Policy program, and anyone else who feels they can add a little something to simplify this process. After completing this class, you will have all the knowledge you need to make an informed decision.
KISS, Keep it Simple...No matter how large someone's real estate investment is, there are simple steps that need to be taken to assure the desired end results.
