Whatever makes an impression on the heart seems lovely in the eye ~ Sa'Di As consumers, we are driven to purchase when a product appeals to us on some emotional level. This tenet is especially true in the purchase of a home and makes the old adage home is where the heart is particularly relevant in the process of selling a home. Staging goes beyond merely re-arranging furniture, hanging art and painting rooms. It is about creating a holistic experience that engages prospective home buyers in a very personal way. At Velvet Plum it is our goal to provide superior service to Enhance marketability and return on investment with our Home Staging services. Leigh Olson President Originally from Montana, I moved to Washington to attend the Art Institute of Seattle. After graduating with a degree in Interior Design, I went to work in the specialty beverage industry designing coffee houses, juice bars and small cafes. With over a decade of experience in retail and hospitality design I decided to turn my passion for experiential design into a business of my own. After completing the Staging Diva™ Home Staging Training Program, I launched Velvet Plum Interiors.
Certifications
Home Staging ConsultationDuring the initial Home Staging Consultation, which typically ranges from 1 - 3 hours, we will do a general walk through to get a sense of the home, the furnishings and accessories. We will then address each room in the house to determine specifics. Once this has been completed the result will be a comprehensive, prioritized list outlining specific tasks to successfully prepare the house for sale. Where appropriate, we will utilize as much of the existing furniture and accessories as possible.
