Hello there and thank you for visiting!

My name is Vanessa Shyrer and I was born and raised in Mahopac, New York. I left Mahopac in 1993 to pursue my education at S.U.N.Y. Morrisville and Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. I received my B.S. in Environmental Science and was fortunate to find a job in my field immediately. The job I found was quite unique, in that I specialized in ground/blast vibration monitoring. I learned a great deal about geology, physics, and houses and buildings. I've parlayed my knowledge of the structure of a home into the selling/purchasing of a home. I know what an emotional attachment people have with their homes, and being attuned to that is one of my top priorities. There is no better feeling than going through this process, whether it be buying OR selling and coming out on the other end, and being able to say, "Well, that wasn't so bad now was it?".
