There is a new solution for all the clients that we have had to say "No, I can't help you."  It is something called a mortgage modification, in which we negotiate with the current lender to change the interest rate and/or your balance. 

We work with a 3rd party company called the Debt Advisory Alliance.  The fee to the client is $3,500 for this service to the law firm.  $1,500 goes to the law firm the other $2,000 goes to the Affiliate for the work done on the file

The cost to become an affiliate is $2,000.  So the first loan modification you sell you break even.

You must have one or more of the 4 following to be eligible for a loan modification:

1) Increase in Mortgage Payment (ARM that has just adjusted/will be adjusting)

2) Decrease in Income (loss of job/less income)

3) Decrease in Home Value

4) Loan Fraud or misrepresentation
