I want my clients to feel comfortable working with me.
So, I'll tell you about myself:
I have lived in Maine for 35 years and wouldn't live anywhere else. Originally from New York State and southern New England, my intersts in nature and a self sufficient lifestyle brought me north to Maine. My wife and I first spent 25 years building a homestad in the western mountains of the state where we raised our kids as well as horses. I managed 175 acres of woodlands and learned the skills necessary to build a home and live off the land. When our kids grew up and left home we moved to the coast of Maine to enjoy the wider variety of cultural and recreational activities.
The Coast of Maine has something for everyone. Employment, Culture, Recreation, and another beautiful view around every corner.
Interested in a career in art, I studied at the Art Students League and then at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. A few years later I was hard at work building a homestead in the western mountains of Maine. I became familiar with all facets of construction and landscaping. Living in the woods and managing a woodlot familiarized me with the issues of the environment and those who make their living from the fragile fabric of our planet.
My interests in social responsibility steered me toward achieving a degree in education at the University of Maine in Farmington. I taught an Industrial Arts/Special Ed. class for two years after moving to the coast.
Throughout my life I have practiced landscaping as a career and rewarding passtime on my own properties. My wife and I have purchased and improved many properties by following nature's own inclinations, all to much success in leaving behind an enhanced biosphere suitable for man an animal alike.
Coming to a career in Real Estate has only been a natural outgrowth of all that has preceded it. My experience and integrity benefits everyone I come in contact with.
Now a Real Estate Broker in Ellsworth, Maine, I live in Blue Hill and summer in Penobscot on the Blue Hill peninsula. My wife Bonnie and I moved here from our homestead in the western Maine mountains.
