Points to ponder
I've lived and worked in my community for over 30 years. I worked at a local animal hospital as a vet tech for 15 years. Those years had taken their toll on me, back and arms were just about shot. I knew I needed a change. Pets are very important to their owners, and you have to earn the owner trust. As a Realtor I use many of the same skills that I practiced as a Vet tech, honesty, patience, and to help others. Some of my past clients at the animal hospital were lawyers... helped to have a good relationship with them.
In 2001 I purchased a house ( a HUD house) located right on Ten Mile River. It was a true handy man special. Over the last 8 years I have done a lot of work on it, and I'm proud to call it home. I enjoy being outside either working in the yard, hiking , gardening or just playing with my dogs.
I love working with first time home buyers. They always seemed to be full of questions by the whole process . I'm open and honesty as to a condition of a property I'm showing. If I don't think it's right for them.. I will tell them. If they are my client I want them to make the best choice. If I see that the property has some issues, I will point them out. I never want my homeowner to regret a purchase.
I work mainly in Putnam and Dutchess County it's a beautiful area .
I love my job. I have to admit I prefer working with buyers more then sellers. If your looking to purchase a home in the Dutchess County area. Please concide giving me a call.
