My husband (Jack) and I moved to Boiling Spring Lakes in 2003 and appreciate the opportunity living in such a beautiful area. After vacationing here at Long Beach for 20 years, we traveled down the east coast and into the gulf shores looking for a place we would be happy in retirement one day. The bridge over to Oak Island "Freedom Bridge" as we called it in those days: always called us back. There is something magical about walking the beach when you are troubled, takes all the stress of life away. Ten years later we moved here permanently and enjoy all views of this area. We enjoy the beach, fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, there is so much to do it is hard to choose what to do first. The fresh water lakes and saltwater fishing is just great. We were self employed for 25 years and had a very successful business in West Virginia. "Treat people like you would want them to treat you" was the secret to our success in our business. It has worked for many years and it will still work today. Communication is the best answer to so many problems you can incur while relocating or retiring. I would appreciate the chance to help you find your dream of living near the coast and sharing with you our beautiful spot in this world. Brunswick County is located near Myrtle Beach and Wilmington. There are good doctors and medical care, hospitals, shopping and entertainment in both cities, then you can come home to the relaxed atmosphere.
