Hi, I'm Susan and am finally fulfilling my dream as a real estate agent. For the last 10 years, I have followed the market while I worked at my job with the City. I retired and finally am pursuing what I have wanted for a long time. My motivation stemed from sellng my own home, with a wonderful agent, who changed my way of thinking about realtors. I used to think of them as pushy, cold hearted vultures, with only one interest.....their own!! My agent changed my way of thinking and I knew then, that is the inevitable path for me. Selling a house didn't have to be a stressor, and realtors are not only realtors, they become your fountain of knowledge, friends, shoulder to cry on, good listener, pychologist, and much more. She made a difference in my experience and I want to make a difference in someone else's. Because my heart and desire is in the right place, my intentions are nothing but honest and in the best interest of my clients. After working for the City as a Disability Co-Ordinator for years, I know life is fragile, can change in a split second, and priorities can also change drastically. You must make every moment count. I want to make the whole experience of selling or buying a home, a memorable one!
I can't believe how much there is to know about buying and selling. I doubt the public knows how much either! That's why I want to specialize in first time buyers, as I was once one, and did not understand alot about the biggest purchase of my life. I did not know what questions to ask, and therefore, our agent assumed we knew most details. We didn't and we sure learned from it. I want to be there for the first time buyer to go through everything, from nuts to bolts, so they aren't left in the dark. There is so much more to just finding your first home than just buying it. My true expertise though lies with people themselves, listening to their wants and needs, from many years of working with disabled employees. The key to doing any job well, is to hear what your clients are saying.
I have been in this business for 1 year and have learned more than I ever dreamt! What a great career to be in, and I love working with so many unique and awesome people. I hope I can keep helping
