Get to Know Steve Adkins
A lifetime on the Connecticut Shore. I love it here, my family moved to Madison in 1959 and my mom wanted to be near the beach. Thank you mom! Growing up from 6-16 on the shoreline was a wonderful expirence. My local knowledge of the shoreline runs from The Thimble Islands in Stony Creek (a suburb of Branford) down the coast through Guilford to Madison (formally East Guilford) past the Hammonasset State Park to Clinton, Westbrook and to Saybrook then up the Connecticut River to Essex, best describes my area of expertise. It's my 'backyard' and it shows.
Last year a group of us (4) banded together to form 'Team Shoreline" our primary purpose is to support each other to give the personal touch when showing homes and as this business is a 7 day one, it pays to have a 'Team member" to provide support so we can all enjoy life and some time off. Personally, I race sail boats on every Sunday afternoon from Mid- March to December. One of my partners has 5 kids so he is tied up every Saturday year round. Two others are retired and active.
