Having lived from one end of this great country to the other--literally-from NC and SC to Hawaii, I have been on the other side of the transaction with many a Realtor.  After moving to South Carolina I decided to  begin my own career in real estate.  I knew I had experienced first hand the frustrations  and the joy of being both the buyer and the seller.  I knew through my own personal moving experiences I could identify with  pretty much everyone.   So many times people say to me "Oh, I've always wanted to be a Realtor.  I love looking at pretty houses."  I knew going into this as a career it wasn't that simple.   I understood what went on behind the scenes.   I understood the showings, the inspections, the negotiations,etc.   I truly saw this as an opportunity to serve others.   I could take my own personal experience and honestly say to people, "I've been there.  That happened to me when I moved."    I have found this to be invaluable.  I use the slogan "Practicing Real Estate with Hard Work and Integrity."  I chose this because it states my work ethic.   It is not all about making a commission to me.   I  do want to find you the right house, sell your home as quickly as possible for the best price, and work hard to actually close the deal when things seem to be unraveling.  A lot of things can go wrong between the offer being made and sitting around the closing table.  I work extremely hard with both buyers and sellers so that when all is said and done you will feel good about your decision and satisfied that I have represented you well.
