One of the most important things I can tell you about me is that I will always answer your questions honestly. I believe in being as above board as possible, that way, there are never any unpleasant surprises. I have been in the mortgage industry for 3 1/2 years now...before that, I was an Investment Representative for Edward Jones. I did that for over 3 years as well. I started an investment office in the worst market since the Great Depression and, subsequently, am in the mortgage industry in one of the worst slumps since the 1980's. I have persevered mostly because I have a client base that knows they can trust me because they know I know what I am doing. I am cautiously optimistic in all markets, mostly because you never know what is waiting around the corner. It is because of this approach that my clients have always been cushioned with any blow the market has to give, therefore, it is never as bad as it could be.
Certifications
I work with all types of clients, including first time homebuyers. I take the time to educate all of my clients on the process of buying a home...including going through the entire loan application and the Good Faith Estimate, line by line. I believe that the more informed a buyer is, the more they can take ownership of the whole process. I also look at the entire financial picture of my client and take that into consideration during the process. Sometimes it makes sense for them to take some of their assets and invest them into other things, like the stock market, additional retirement options, etc. I, as an iinvestment professional, try to make sure that my clients are as well rounded financially as I can help them to be.
