Growing up, I never knew that my Grandmother,( who'd raised her 7 kids alone when her husband, a pastor died of a heart attack at 42) had a realty license in 1925! Ironically I took a realty course only to find out how badly I did in settling my own Mom's estate (43) when I was only 23, expecting the first of my 4 little girls. God blessed me with a way to support them  when their Dad skipped for 5+ years with no child support. Most of the best gifts in my life have originated with my career: Friends, clients, opportunities to help and make a difference for other people as well as make small investments myself. Met my wonderful second husband Dick when he asked about real estate as a result of my name badge!
