PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

I'm a graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake (Go Cougars!) where I earned a BA in Literature and made the illustrious Dean's List. I minored in Education, and later earned my lifetime Texas teaching certificate from the Texas Education Agency. Shortly after graduation, I welcomed the challenge of teaching English and reading to inner-city school children for several years. I taught ELA in some of the most challenging classrooms in America and I was always proud to call myself a teacher and took my role as an educator very seriously. HISD awarded me with the prestigious HISD 100% Teacher Award which I accepted with great honor.

I have worn several different hats since I graduated from UHCL many years ago. In addition to being a teacher, I have worked as a professional journalist, a small business owner, a business manager, and a carpenter. I authored a YA novel, two screenplays and have publish many works of poetry.

I am now a full-time REALTOR© with Keller Williams Waterside Realty. It's fun getting the opportunity to meet new people from different walks of life on a daily basis. I'm truly enjoying my profession as a Real Estate Counselor and I look forward to meeting and helping you in the near future!
