Since I became a Realtor in 2006, my life has been filled with the wonderful people of this Grand Valley, some of whom have become very good friends of mine. Growing up in Southern California and living 20 years in Denver, CO make me appreciate so much more all that the Grand Valley has to offer.
Real Estate for me is not just a job, it’s a passion! When I first became licensed and began working in real estate, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was and so looked forward to beginning my new career. I had worked many years in government contract administration and while I loved what I did, it did not personally fulfill me. My career as a Real Estate Agent has given me the opportunity to assist others to achieve their real estate goals, whether buying, selling, or investing, while at the same time living my dream of working for myself. If I am not successful, I have only myself to blame.
As a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the Grand Junction Area Realtor Association, I uphold strong professional values and standards of ethics. Not only do I abide by the Realtor’s code of ethics, I also work above and beyond to be sure my clients are satisfied. For me, real estate is a relationship business, not a transaction business, and my clients can attest that I stay in touch with them long after closing!
When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors, anywhere from just hanging out at home to the shores of Lake Powell or the beaches of Mexico. You will often find me hiking around Colorado with my 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier Cassy. During the summer, I like to visit Moab and Lake Powell to escape this “big city”! God, family, friends, and health & fitness are important to me and I am fully committed to staying on top of my TOTAL game as best I can so I can provide the best service possible to my clients.

| If I could only describe what we put Shelly through in our search for a house ! At every turn we asked for something special and then something more and every time Shelly not only responded, but had almost always anticipated our questions and requests in advance and had already done the necessary research. Whether finding lost property covenants and encumbrances from 1947 or identifying foundation analysis engineers, Shelly was there. Shelly was professional, friendly, easy going and more importantly, very knowledgeable. She knew the area, she knew the market, she shared this knowledge and helped us find a house we loved. Never did she try to push us into a house we didn't want. She focused on our satisfaction and in the end, she found a house for us that we loved so much we made an offer on the spot and now that we live here, we love it even more ! We cannot thank Shelly enough for her dedication, follow through, and outstanding commitment. We are grateful and lucky to have worked with such an exemplary professional. We like our house so much we will probably not get to use Shelly's services anytime soon, but I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a new place to call home. |

She returns phone calls and emails in a very prompt manner. She was extremely patient with me in my search for the right home for me, which took over a full year of our time and effort. She diligently researched many different locations and properties to show me. I feel she not only listens to what your wants and needs are but she's also great at helping you consider additional possibilities that perhaps you hadn't thought about.
