American Star Mortgage KC, LLC is a Residential and Commercial Mortgage Broker located in Shawnee, KS. I started the business about 2 years ago after working for another broker and as an executive in Corporate America for the prior 7 years. I have extensive knowledge in all areas of both Residential and Commerical Lending. I run my personal business as well as my company on the idea of volume, instead of maximizing profit per deal. I probably pay my Loan Officers too much, but doing that translates in OUR CLIENTS GETTING THE LOWEST INTERST RATE AND FEES POSSIBLE. I've worked places where that was not the case, but I didn't sleep well at night. I truely believe in doing the best for our clients because I DO BUSINESS BY REFERRALS ONLY. That fact helps us keep costs down and achieve our ultimate goal of watching out for the best interest of our clients.

MY COMPANY DOES NOT PRACTICE IT, BUT IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE INDUSTRY IN WHICH I WORK. MY PEOPLE CAN SEE THIS RIGHT AWAY AND TRY TO HELP A BORROWER AVOID IT, BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK.
