| Our family found itself in the position of having to sell our family home when my dad went into a nursing home. We hired Shane Engel upon the recommendation of my brother-in-law who raved about what a great job Shane had done selling his brother’s condo. His recommendation was well founded. Shane’s work was thorough, thoughtful and timely. He met with us to review comparable property sales in town, explained what we could expect during each phase of the selling process and made recommendations regarding how present our property in the best possible light. We followed his recommendations and had an offer on the house within 2 ½ weeks of listing it. He worked with us and the buyer’s agent every step of the way- through negotiating the price, the purchase and sale agreement, hiring an attorney, the house inspection and getting ready for the closing. We had lots of questions and Shane always responded to them in a timely fashion. We found Shane to be a knowledgeable, compassionate real estate agent who operates with integrity and transparency. When we met with our real estate attorney, he remarked on the competency of our agent in pricing the house realistically. Our goal was to sell the house quickly for a fair price and Shane helped us achieve both of these goals. He has our highest recommendation. |

| I spent nearly ten years and three realtors to sell my home. I was relocated to Washington, D.C. in October 2006 and left with the home still unsold. By chance I located Shane in the spring of 2012 after doing an extensive search for a realtor. I was concerned by the fact that transactions would have to done long distance, but circumstances did not permit me to travel back and forth between Boston and DC. In my first conversation with Shane I informed him I wanted to get my house sold before the end of 2012. Through many phone calls, emails, and faxes, Shane helped me to get the home sold around Veterans Day 2012. I truly thank him for all his hard work, late night emails, handling of crazy contractors and wealth of information and contacts that allowed the sale to go through with no major snags. As our family is now searching for a home in the DC area, I wish he was available to help me. I would recommend Shane with no reservations. I always thought I worked hard, he works harder. When I am in the Boston area again, I will be able to finally thank him in person. |

| Shane is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the buying process. He has extensive knowledge of foreclosures and short sales and could easily help a buyer or seller with those types of deals. He has a good mind for negotiating and we trusted him through the buying process. |

| I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much Ed and I all that you have done for us. I didn't want too much time to pass before I let you know how happy our family is in our new home. It doesn't seem possible that we could own a home so beautiful, not to mention large. It is amazing that you took a dream of mine and help turn it into reality.
