My life has been a series of great adventures. Before I was 21, I had already worked in a lumber mill, fought forest fires, surveyed range land, cruised timber for a lumber company, built grain elevators and pumped gas in a full service filling station and worked as a box boy at a large grocery chain.

On a snowy Christmas college break, I married Donna, the love of my life. We met on a blind date and we've been soul mates, best friends, parents, grandparents and business partners for 43 years.

While attending school, I got hooked on broadcast journalism and started working as an overnight disc jockey at a local radio station. This was the beginning of a 30 year radio and newspaper career. I've had a lot of fun and some wild moments behind the microphone. I wouldn't trade places with anyone in the world! Along the way, Donna and I raised three wonderful children while we built a diversified group of corporations including radio stations, a weekly paper, a car wash and a sign shop.

In the early 90's, I also found time to serve for eight years as a citizen legislator in the Montana House of Representatives and the Montana Senate. I was honored to be named the vice-chairman of the Senate Business and Economic Development Committee and, later, as Chairman of Senate Health and Human Services.

  One of my lifelong passions is my involvement with horses. I’ve been a horseman all my life. As a business executive, my escape valve has always been in the riding arena or packing into the wilderness on horseback. I've logged thousands of miles on mountain trails.

 I've also had a long involvement with the sport of rodeo. Donna and I produced a nationally recognized, award winning rodeo for 18 years. At a Senior Rodeo National Finals in the late 90’s, I was offered the position of Executive Director of the National Senior Pro Rodeo Association. Donna and I traveled extensively to rodeos all over the country and produced the Senior National Finals Rodeo for three years.

After selling my communications businesses in the late 90's, I became a top ranked real estate broker in my area of Western Montana.  After moving to Westfield, Indiana in 2009, I chose to continue to pursue my passion for real estate. Recently, I was asked to become a Managing Broker at RE/MAX Ability Plus, with responsibilities in Westfield and Lebanon, IN. Ther commitment to technology, professional standards and the dominating market presence,worldwide, made the company a perfect fit for me. I enjoy meeting new people from all over and the challenges that come with helping people buy or sell or a home. My priorities are God, Family and Work..in that order!
