I am the broker/manager of Thompson Real Estate and therefore travel back and forth between our head office in Woodstock, New Brunswick on the border of Houlton, Maine and to Florenceville (my home town) which is along the Maine border as well over toward Bridgewater, Mars Hill and Presque Isle, Maine. I have two grown up children, a background with Quarter Horses (having been a qualified Canadain Equestrian Judge) and have taught the Real Estate pre-licencing course so am a stickler for doing things the right way. I love golf, getting to Florida at least once a year for the beach and think everyone should be able to enjoy family life in communities such as we have here along the Saint John River Valley of Carleton County.

The more you write about your area's of expertise the more knowledgeable you'll sound to a potential buyer or seller. We cater to all kinds of buyers. In the Florenceville area we have many executives who live here in order to work for the world's largest frozen food company, McCain Foods and of course we have our share of doctors, teachers and farmers as well. The Realtors in our company list and sell about 65% of our own properties which indicates that buyer brokers are not very common in the region yet. Hence we are good at walking that fine line as Limited Duel Agents. We have never had a court case as we treat every buyer and seller with the utmost respect and care. The thriving little communities which we serve include, Nackawic, Woodstock, Hartland (home of the World's Longest Covered Bridge), Centreville, Bath, Bristol and of course Florenceville and as far north as Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock. We have lots of lakes, hunting and fishing lodges and camps and also the boating, skiing and hiking properties.
