I was first licensed in Hawaii in 1995 before the MLS was computerized and we used big thick MLS book that was printed monthly, like a big phone book. Technology has revolutionized the way we do business and today our consumers have more information available to them than ever before.
My first Broker had an extensive training program. He went on to be the president of National Association of Realtors. I had the honor of being mentored by top brokers in the Industry in Hawaii, Virginia and Florida (broker’s license in FL,VA,CA)
In Hawaii, I specialized in property management and at one point managed over 500 properties. After moving to Florida I worked with commercial broker who taught me that aspect of the business from the ground up. I also worked as a property manager. In Virginia Beach after a brief stint with Prudential, I opened my own firm which specialized in building large commercial complexes then selling and leasing to small businesses. In 2007, I came back to my California roots to be close to my family and pursue my passion in real estate and the arts.
I’ve taught home buyer’s and seller’s workshops as I love to educate people on the real estate process. During the 2008 mortgage meltdown, I consulted distressed homeowners and helped negotiate terms which best suited their situation to help avoid foreclosure.
I had my own firm until May of 2016 when I joined Keller Williams as a broker associate. I love the culture and support as well as the opportunities for growth. I work at the Newport Beach office where as well as running my own business, I am a production coach to agents who are just starting out or that need an extra boost to their business. I love to give back and help others with things the knowledge I have learned over the years.
My philosophy in 23 years in the industry is that relationships are key to any successful business. Being authentic and honest is my mantra. I utilize old work knowledge mixed with new technologies to service my clients in the best way possible.
