That said, in my experience as a north shore and south shore real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

Fifteen years ago I was working at a job that didn't pay me very much. With five kids and lots of responsibility, I worked many hours of over time. I felt that the only hope I had to get out of my rut was to figure out how to buy and sell real estate. So the first thing I did was attend real estate appraisal school. I worked for a company in Peabody for three years appraising homes for mortgage companies, banks and attorneys. The next step was to learn financing for these homes. I worked for several companies including East West, Citimortgage and GMAC. The best experience I had was working at Carlson GMAC. I would pre-qualify folks to buy homes and refinance them. Five years of doing that and I decided to take the next step which was get my real estate license. It's been five years now and I feel as though I have learned a lot and am able to help folks sell and buy homes with the least amount of difficulty.
