I started out working in the title and escrow business as a customer service representative and escrow assistant. Learning the basics about title reports and the escrow process sparked an enthusiasm to move on to working with the agents in their brokerages. I became a transaction coordinator at Alain Pinel Realtors in Carmel, CA. After hard and dedicated work, earning my real estate license, and proving my attention to detail - the branch's Top Producer hired me as his executive assistant. For years, I was showing multi-million dollar properties in picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea and prestigious Pebble Beach. I developed a great sense of etiquette and discretion from working with discerning Sellers and Buyers. Juggling dozens and dozens of transactions at a time, running marketing and showing reports, and creating unique and beautiful print marketing worthy of nationally distributed periodicals were the majority of my 12 hour workdays. After working with Alain Pinel, I moved on to work with other leading brokerages in their markets - Sotheby's in Carmel, David Lyng Real Estate in Santa Cruz before relocating to the Sacramento area.
Upon arriving in Sacramento, I started working for the boutique firm, MagnumOne Realty in Roseville, CA. Working as the office manager for a while, I switched to a contractor status and became the firm's Compliance Manager and hung my license with them. In August 2009, I traveled to Maui, HI to assist Aloha Realty Group in the organization and implementation of RELAY - an online real estate transaction management system. In less than 2 weeks, I had their contracts, timelines, disclosures and checklists configured and the programs up and running - all while maintaining agent files from the mainland.
In December 2009, I took a position with Select Group Real Estate, Inc. in their Marketing Department. I assisted in the implementation and refinement of their eMarketing campaigns. I recently decided that working as a contractor for many different agents was most satisfying for me and most cost effective for all. I'm in the process of moving my home office to an office space.
Although I may SOUND like a VIRTUAL ASSISTANT, I am not. I believe that face to face interaction betwen an agent and their assistant is still absolutely necessary. I simply offer assistant services on an 'as-needed' basis. I'm actively accepting clients, so drop me an email if you think you could use my services or would like to see examples of my work.
I assist RE Agents with their eMarketing and Interactive Media, Organizing their workspaces, and managing their transactions. I run OnCall Assistants and work with agents in and out of the Sac Metro.
