Buying or selling a home in the Montpelier area can be stressful. There's a lot going on.  I've melded various experiences together to help with the whole process.  With a background in finance (as a Certified Financial Planner, or CFP), a second grade teacher, a real estate investor, a landlord, and a homeowner, I'm here to help.  With these experiences, I'm able to help crunch numbers, coach through transactions, and be a little stubborn when that's what's called for.  One of the biggest advantages that I bring is that my wife and I have bought and sold several properties ourselves.  I know what the process feels like.

I'm incredibly proud of the team we've put togther here at Green Light Real Estate. I work with nine of the most thoughtful, creative, fun, and hard working people that there are!

I live in Middlesex with my wife (Karen), our two daughters (Josephine and Willoughby) and our 12 chickens.

Certifications

I got into the business specializing in rental properties and income properties (multi-family properties and fixer uppers).  While that's still an area that I absolutely love, I wanted to branch out a little.  What do I specialize in?  I specialize in letting other agents and the buyers in my database know about new listings that they might be interested in.  I specialize in being professional and compassionate during the buying or selling process.

If, as a seller, you want someone to give a hard close to a prospective buyer, then I'm not your agent.  But if you want someone who can professionally and collegially tout the features of your house, and someone who's very good at staying in touch with buyers, then let's talk.

If, as a buyer, you want someone to help work through what you and your family are looking for in a house, then let's talk.

What I figure is that after we've talked, if you're comfortable and confident that I can get the job done, then that's a success.  I'm pretty sure that even if a potential buyer or seller doesn't buy or sell right away, they will eventually.  Plus, Central Vermont's a small community.  Much of my business comes from referrals, and I fully understand the power of word of mouth.

While I spend more of my time training and coaching agents so that their practice can grow and so that that can provide awesome service to customers and clients, I still actually work transactions, and I love doing it!
