My Experience
I started in real estate as an investor and property manager right after college. While living in Bellingham, Washington, I personally bought, renovated, leased out and then resold six houses.
•· I ran the American subsidiary of an Italian company that manufactured and distributed industrial stainless steel Fasteners - the type used in constructing dams, waste water treatment plants, bridges and marinas. I had a group of 20 Reps from all over the U.S. as well as a staff of 15 at our U.S. Office. We grossed over $25M is sales and I personally gained great experience in management, sales and marketing, as well as dealing with people from different cultures. The steel industry had changed where most of the jobs went overseas and it was time to find another career.
•· I went back to University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in degree in hospitality management. I gained more management and people skills experience working at such Hotels as Ritz Carlton, Pan Pacific Hotel, JoideVivre Hotel Group.
•· During the Internet boom of the late 90’s I could not pass up the opportunity to make top dollars in field of Information technology. Specifically in marketing, sales, and data base management. My wife and I formed a consulting group and successfully bid on the Y2K compliance project for the state of California. We did very well grossing over $2M a year. Unfortunately l the tech boom went bust at the turn of the millennium.
As a Realtor, I've worked for three brokers and in both Napa and Sonoma counties. I've been successful at what I do, even during the recent recession. During this period I was in select group agents who were recognized for top sales and client satisfaction.
