| We first met Petra and Joseph Contrada when we were longing to sell our oversized home, but found the whole process of selling so daunting that we just hadn’t felt we could commit to it. After our first conversation with the Contrada’s, our whole outlook changed. Patiently, and with good humor, they addressed all of our concerns and made us see everything in a much brighter – and more realistic – light. They gave us wise and practical advice on how to get our house ready to show, and had good ideas about how to market such a unique property. Most of all, they left us feeling confident that we would not have to face any part of the process alone. We decided to take the plunge. It was a great decision. No, the house was not easy to sell, but it was possible. When our first deal to sell went awry in a complicated unforeseeable way, the Contrada’s were right on top of the shifting situation, providing sound advice and unrelenting advocacy as well as kind, positive support to us. Very soon after, they found us another qualified buyer, and saw the whole deal through to a successful sale with professionalism and tenacity. When we suddenly needed to find a house to rent, they devoted all the time necessary to finding us the perfect place within our tight time frame.
