Over the years, I have completed many specialized real estate courses and have developed skills in advertising and marketing properties. In 2002, I completed a rigorous certification program, e-Pro, endorsed by the prestigious National Association of Realtors® (NAR). e-Pro certification means I am prepared to employ the latest services and techniques available on the internet, for your benefit, when buying or selling your home. I hold a G.R.I. (Graduate, Realty Institute), an advanced course typically taken over a one year period that is very intense and time-consuming. The knowledge I have gained is a great value I pass on to my clients. Additional experience and educational requirements were met and I obtained my Real Estate Broker license in the State of Texas and the State of California. Knowledge is power and I believe in constantly setting and reaching goals which includes higher standards of consumer service. Continuing education and keeping up with industry standards really set agents apart when it comes to helping customers. An experienced negotiator, I enjoy guiding my real estate clients through the process of home buying and selling, and I believe open, honest communication creates a positive transaction for all concerned. My husband, Mike, and I met when we were both firefighters. We share our lives and home with the "Furry Gang" - our dogs. Although I love practically every breed of dog know to man, I am very passionate about Newfoundlands. As a member of Newfoundland Club of America, Old West Newfoundland Club and Newfoundland Club of Northern California, I am proactive in the safety, welfare and maintaining the standards of this magnificent breed. Involved in Newfoundland Health and Rescue, I am often a foster home to many of these "Gentle Giants" while they are waiting to find their "forever" homes. I spent more than fifteen years in the nursing profession, over ten of those years were spent serving this great country of ours while in the military. Additionally, I served more than seven years in the fire service; as a firefighter and as a 911 dispatcher. My entire professional life has been dedicated to the service industry and my real estate career is no different. I truly enjoy working with people.
