I have been devoted to real estate for over 16 years and have earned many educational certifications. I am a graduate of the Real Estate Institute (G.R.I.) taught by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and have a designation from the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS). I am a licensed Principal Broker in Oregon, which is the highest level one can achieve in terms of education.
Specializing in Luxury Homes, Oceanfront and Ocean View Properties, I am also very experienced in handling commercial properties as I am an experienced investor myself. I have worked with investment groups, development and developers, builders, vacant land and acreage, and done exchanges. (1031 IRC exchanges).

| On vacation, my partner Michelle and I were traveling up the coast of Oregon for the first time. Struck by the stunning natural beauty, on a Saturday afternoon we detoured and drove around the city of Brookings to get an idea of what a typical home would cost. While peering through a window of a listed home, Marianne Padilla drove by, noticed our plight, and asked if we would like to look inside. She was busy at the moment, but took the time to help us regardless. We verbally defined our requirements and a preference for condominiums, since our lifestyle involves frequent travel. Within fifteen minutes, she drove us to right to a new home that met our needs completely. We thought about it as we drove along the length of the Oregon coast. One week later to the day, we called Marianne and made an offer on the property. When you are in town and don't know a soul, you are at their mercy. You feel vunerable and anxious. You worry about getting fleeced. Thankfully, Marianne is a very delightful person under her very professional veneer. Moreover, she took the time to explain in great detail 1) the regulatory environment for real estate transactions in Oregon and 2) her ethical obligations to the buyer and seller. Marianne was the Rock of Gibraltar. She kept us calm during one of life's biggest decisions, a home purchase. At no time did we regret retaining her as our real estate broker. In summary, Marianne did not just sell us real estate. She adopted us. The entire transaction was handled off site and out of state with a minimum of fuss and bother. She even arranged for a closing so we could sign the documents near our out of State home at our convenience. Consequently, we purchased a home. We now have a retirement home in Brookings, OR and are very much looking forward to becoming part of the community. | Two years ago we moved to Brookings from Colorado needing to find a home within just days, which normally would be extremely stressful. Thanks goodness we found Marianne! | I want to take this opportunity to RAVE about Marianne Padilla, my real estate agent, extraordinaire! Besides taking the time to show me through all of the homes that I hoped to see in a day, Marianne took the extra step of showing me around Brookings-Harbor by pointing out places of interest to me as we drove from house to house. She has an eye for noticing special features within and around homes and has a delightful way of sharing her insights.
