Barbara L. Johnson Realty has been operating in northern Lake county for the past 25 years. We are a small independent company with an extensive knowledge of our area. We are a small office with 5 agents at this time who all work together as a team. Weather it be a small mobile in the forest, an elegant home in town or acreage for your ranch or home we will have the all the info and make it available to you.
Certifications
Obtaining my real estate sales person license in 2004 might not seem so impressive in and of itself taken along with my other life experiences has helped turn me into the real estate professional that can definitely get the job done and keep you 100% satisfied. For 26 years I operated a very successful farming and marketing business up north. As an independent farmer I had to learn not only how to grow but also had to grasp more than the basics of all the trades. l had to develop negotiating skills to be able to successfully sell my crops. Later in my life I became interested in real estate and began to acquire rental properties that I managed myself, operated a vacation home and held a few mortgages. Then I got interested in Florida. Love the country here. In 1998 I bought my first property here and began to be a snowbird. After retiring from the farm I had a yen to learn more about the real estate business. I first studied and received my mortgage brokers license. Then I decided to go to school and study for the real estate sales person license which I earned in 2004. Since then I have graduated from 3 post licensing courses and have been working successfully for Barbara L. Johnson Realty. I love the business. Love the properties and the people and feel great joy when I can help folks with there real estate needs.
