When I decided to add Home Staging to my interior design business in 2002, I wanted to learn proper techniques in preparing houses for sale. My research led me to the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) Certification offered by StagedHomes.com. Much has changed in the real estate market since then which makes Staging a property a vital marketing tool. Our team of ASP's is able to take the stress and confusion out of preparing a seller's home for market. For Occupied Homes we offer Consultations for the do-it-yourself homeowner, Staging Bids which establish our fee for Staging the property, and an hourly fee for our doing as much or little as the sellers likes. We offer bids for Staging Vacant Homes using three programs; Simple, Standard, and Elite. Fees quoted include Staging, inventoriy in-load/out-load, weekly checks, and monthly inventory rental. Certifications
Each house is unique in that not all styles of furnishings and accessories will look good in all houses. I have a large assortment of accessories and furniture with which to furnish a vacant home so that it is Staged appropriately. Vacant houses can be either fully Staged, which is preferred by ASP's because it is more appealing to potential buyers, or by vignettes which simply give an indication of of the room's intended use.
